Prevalence of Burnout Syndrome in Medical Assistants Working in Hospitals Affiliated with Urmia University of Medical Sciences

Background: Stress and strain are an inevitable part of a professional life originate from work-related experiences. Since the residents highly exposed to burnout aroused by physical, psychological, emotional stress, this study aimed investigate frequency syndrome in medical assistants working hospitals affiliated with Urmia University Medical Sciences. Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional examined all hospital Sciences using census method. Two demographic questionnaires were distributed collect required information. Data collected imported SPSS software version 20 then analyzed statistics. Results: In study, results showed that out 147 78 (53.1%) male 69 (46.9%) female, 104 (70.7%) married. The mean score questions was 34.66 ± 13. 51.53 11.15 among 53.61 11.74 female residents. 51.82 11.29 married 54.19 11.77 single assistants. Moreover, There no relationship between gender (P = 0.275) marriage 0.26). Conclusions: indicate most suffer symptoms; hence, appropriate measures planning detect eliminate causes burnout.
